Meet Hazzan Itamar Cohen

Itamar received his training at the Yeshivot (Jewish High Educational Schools) in  Jerusalem, Bnai Brak and New York and his cantorial training from his illustrious father, Hazzan Rabbi Shimon Cohen who served as Cantor for Haham Ovadiah Yosef ZT"L for numerous years. He has a special interest in Yerushalmi liturgy and has delighted our Kahal for almost a decade. Itamar Cohen’s style of blending traditional and modern Jewish melodies has made services at Etz Chaim a beautiful and joyous experience. He and his wife Dina and their children, Ari, Yael, & Naomi are jewels in the Etz Chaim community.

Itamar can be reach via email here
